Departmental Site Liscence:

The Department of Psychology at Princeton University owns an E-Prime site liscense which allows E-Prime to be installed on any departmental computer.  However, a hardware key is required for installation. However, after completing the installation process the hardware key is not required to run the program.

Installing E-Prime:

If you wish to install E-Prime on a computer in the Psychology department, please contact Dustin Reagan by email at: drreagan@princeton.edu or stop by the Cognitive Electrophysiology Lab (Room 3-C-19, Green Hall)  in order to obtain an E-Prime hardware key, and the E-Prime software & serial number (please sign and date the hardware key check out sheet in the lab).

After installing the E-Prime software from the cd-rom, it is recommended that you download and install the latest version of E-Prime.  You need the serial number in order to download and install the update, so be sure to keep it handy.

Using E-Prime:

Official information on using E-Prime is available here:  E-Prime Beta 5.0 information site and here: E-Prime faq

Furthermore, we keep a log of various bugs, fixes and work-arounds encountered by users of E-Prime here in Green Hall:
